Class Descriptions

Please note: Skill readiness will be decided by the coach for each individual gymnast. We believe in training proper progressions at the rate of the gymnast's ability and will not train above what each gymnast can safely attempt.  Open communication between parent, gymnast and coach is encouraged.

PRESCHOOL CLASSES ARE AGE-BASED, NOT ABILITY-BASED. Here is the age breakdown  and description for preschool classes:

Mom and Tots- Parent/Guardian and child age 2. This is a 45-minute class. Parent participation is required, and it's FUN for both you and your child! Teachers facilitate while you assist your own child on various skills.  You will play many partner games with your child and will learn about various child development concepts. Children's readiness to separate from their parent varies. We encourage you to prepare them to 'graduate' to the 3-year old class as they approach their third birthday. This will assist in their transition to attend class without a parent.

Age 3.  This is a 45-minute class which includes introductory age-appropriate instruction on tumbling, bars, balance beam, trampoline and extra group and locomotor activities.

Age 4-5. This is a one-hour class which includes age-appropriate instruction on tumbling, bars, balance beam, trampoline and extra group and locomotor activities.
